Unifying Community Support . . . Investing in Our Future
Since its founding in January of 2004, the Construction Industry Educational Foundation (CIEF) has contributed significantly to the health of this industry, while uncompromisingly supporting educational endeavors and training opportunities throughout the Sacramento region.
In fact, CIEF has:
· Contributed over $85,000 to Sacramento State University's dynamically redeveloping Construction Management Program.
· Awarded over $50,000 in student scholarships -- primarily to support excelling, motivated upper-class students at CSU-Chico and Sac-State construction management programs.
· Directed more than $160,000 in sponsorships to support scholastic Design/Build teams in competitions annually convening more than 300 students from 20 regional high schools.
· Contributed more than $300,000 as the primary financial supporter of the Safety and Construction Management Expo -- providing training for over 4,500 industry employees.
· Become the founding sponsor for Sacramento's affiliate of the National ACE Mentor Program, growing from a single introductory school in 2006/2007, to the nearly twenty high schools and over 400 students participating during the current 2009/2010 academic year.
The Importance of Your Contributions
Your donations provide the means to purchase tools and materials for student projects, supply transportation to job sites, provide insurance to permit student participation and travel, assure venues for team sessions, grant scholarship funds to deserving students, and so much more.
Please help CIEF enhance the future workforce and vitality of our industry!
